Online Lesson & Practice: Ericksonian elements in therapy

Join us: THURSDAY 4th November @ 6pm – 7.30pm AEST via Zoom

  • The therapists’ task is to create a context for people, so that they can access their own, innate resources and begin a path to change.
  • Milton Erickson had clear ideas about what therapy entailed, and even clearer thoughts on what was NOT therapy. There are timeless lessons we can learn to apply to our modern practice.

TEACHING SESSION: Join us for our monthly teaching session, where Katina will be discussing elements of ‘Ericksonian’ practice, including an exploration of assumptions to be avoided to make your therapy better.

PRACTICE SESSION: We’ll follow this with a practice session, where we will be working from an adapted induction script from one of Erickson’s case studies. The script will be supplied to you ahead of time so you can familiarise yourself with it – it will be available for download once your attendance is confirmed.

Our lessons are friendly and we all support one another with helpful feedback. We start and finish on time, and make the most of every moment. We had such a lovely time at our last practice session, and many of you remarked that practicing by Zoom was easier than you expected it to be. Most of you have requested more practice, so here we go!

We hope you can join us again this time. Sending out our best to everyone,

Rachel & Katina
